Eames Institute

I teamed up John Cary, CEO, and Llisa Demetrios, the Eames’s granddaughter, in selecting our creative agency partner, Manual. Together, we hosted workshops at the Eames Ranch in Petaluma, California and went deep into the archives. I oversaw the identity’s development from start to finish and helped both the Institute and Manual navigate what could have been an impossible task. In the end, the identity work that Manual developed struck a perfect balance and has successfully scaled across web and communications; physical collateral; and built environments.
It has been a joy to see this work come to life and be well-received by the design community from Creative Review to Brand New.
